Prince of Wales Terrace, Deal
This is a prime property on Deal’s seafront but the previous developer had sadly removed all of the original timber sash windows and replaced them with ugly, inappropriate uPVC units. Luckily, following enforcement action by the local authority – Dover District Council – the plastic windows had to be removed and replaced with reproduction timber box sash windows made to the original authentic pattern.
The owner was delighted with the results, as was the local authority, as the property is in a conservation area and is an important part of Deal’s historic seafront.
