Alfred Square, Deal

The original black-painted box sash windows had been removed from this property on the edge of Deal’s Middle Street conservation area, and modern frames were inserted. There was enough detail remaining in the original box frames, coupled with original sashes in another part of the building, to enable the windows to be reproduced authentically.

The upper two levels of the property had complete box sash windows made to an authentic pattern using top-quality BC pine with hardwood sills. Following the transformation of this building, feedback has been very positive from other residents in Alfred Square. The neighbour two doors down has since asked us to refurbish his windows.
